STABLING & SHOWGROUND FACILITIES

The temporary stables and the lorry park are situated in Lupton’s field, (SHOWGROUND BUTTON) please state at time of booking if you are bringing a STALLION.
A base bedding of Shavings will be provided with the cost of your stable, along with adlib haylage which will be available at the end of each stable block. Additional Shavings may be purchased from the Stable Manager in the normal way. If you do not wish to be part of the 'all incllusive deal', temporary stables are availabe at a lower cost away from the 'All Inclusive' stables. Straw may be used in these stables but is not sold on the showground.
Stables are for the duration of the show and are not available for single night bookings.
Horses/ponies are not permitted to be stabled overnight in vehicles or corrals within the perimeter of the showground.
 
SPONSORS ARE GIVEN PRIORITY IN THE PERMANENT BLOCK. PERMANENT STABLES WILL NOT BE ALLOCATED TO PONIES.

No refunds can be made in respect of stables cancelled unless the stable can be re-sold.

MUCK from Stables & Horseboxes are collected by a local farmer at the end of the season. This must be PURE with NO BOTTLES; CANS; PLASTIC; STRING etc. All muck must be put in the areas provided NOT at the end of each stable block. If we do not adhere to this, we will have to pay £25,000 a year to have the muck taken away. Please self-police this. If you see anyone breaking the rules, tell them, or tell us. Any person breaking this rule will be liable to a fine of £25 for each offence. If you have a groom, please make sure they are aware of this.

There will be regular SECURITY patrols throughout the night.

Portaloos are situated in the stable field with the main toilet block and showers in the main showground area.

A Veterinary Surgeon and Farrier are on site during the day and may be contacted via the Stable Manager or the Secretary’s Office. 24 hour First Aid cover is provided by Wessex Ambulance Service, the First Aid post being located next to the restaurant.

Railed Horse Walks are provided to all the rings and these MUST be used at all times.
